Windham Citizens for Open Government

Windham Citizens for Open Government was formed in early 2005 by a group of like-minded Windham Township residents who saw a clear and urgent need for changes in Township Government.   Our concerns have been publicly stated and widely published.   They include: sound fiscal management including effective cost and spending controls; adequate fire protection for Windham Township and mutual aid agreements with surrounding Pennsylvania municipalities; good road maintenance using accepted management practices; responsible use of the Township Solicitor; careful and thoughtful pursuit of only essential legal activities; fair and equal support and protection for every Township resident; and fully open government for everybody.   Every resident is entitled to these things from their government.

The course of action we’ve selected is through the election process.   We support those candidates and positions we believe are in the best interest of Windham Township and which promote the safety and security of all our residents.   Our members are united by this commitment to make a better Windham Township.   We’d like your support to build a better and safer Windham Township for everyone.   If you are a Windham Township resident and agree with our vision to make constructive change in Windham Township, come join us.   Use our Contact Us to make your request.   Together, we can do it.   We’ve created this site as a free public service for friends and neighbors, just to provide something positive for Windham Township and surrounding municipalities.   We hope you enjoy it.
