Dine Out for Homeless Animals

Bradford County Humane Society's annual Eat for Pete fundraiser will be held Thursday, November 6th, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Sayre Elks Club.  Dinners are $7.00 and includes a chicken and biscuit dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, dessert and coffee or tea, or milk other beverages are available to purchase.  Children under 5 years old eat for free. 

Come out to meet Pete, a shelter dog who represents the many abandoned animals who enter the Ulster animal shelter.  Eat for Pete is held every year along with Shop For Pete, during National Shelter Appreciation Week in November.  The goal is to help bring awareness to shelter animals and promote these wonderful adoptable companions.  For more information about Eat for Pete or Shop for Pete contact BCHS at (570) 888-2114

October is Adopt a Dog Month.  Adopt a dog on Wednesdays in the month of October and receive a special discount off spaying/ neutering.  BCHS is located on Route 220 in Ulster.  Open Monday - Friday 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  View adoptable pets online at www.bradfordchs.petfinder.org.  Call BCHS for information about pet adoption (570) 888-2114.
