Anita Deats and Lois Yeagle were among those 126 persons recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of State's Election Bureau for their having cast ballots in the November General Election for 50 consecutive years. Although they did not attend the recognition luncheon at the Towanda America Legion on July 23rd, each received in the mail citations from representative Tina Pickett and Governor Edward Rendell for their induction into the Bradford County, Pennsylvania Voter Hall of Fame.

Mutual Aid Restored with Litchfield Township

The Litchfield Township Supervisors renewed a mutual aid agreement with Windham Township Volunteer Fire Department at their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, July 7th (reported on page 12 of the July 8th Sayre Times).
